Trey Hollingsworth is from a family worth hundreds of millions (maybe even billions). In 2016, they sent their boy to Indiana and spent over $4 million convincing us to vote for a ‘successful small business owner’ from Tennessee.
The list of big corporations and PACs that support Hollingsworth is as long as Andy Ruff’s progress record as a councilman in his hometown. So when it’s time to make policy, guess whose interests Trey votes for? Washington lobbyists and the ultra-wealthy.
Our campaign is grassroots and supports a grassroots agenda. Even though Andy has accepted no money from corporations and lobbyists, asking you for money isn’t something we like to do. Unfortunately it takes money to run a congressional campaign. If you’re as tired as Andy of being ‘represented’ by wealthy speculators and Wall Street firms, please consider contributing whatever you can afford.

This campaign is about returning Hoosier representation to Indiana’s 9th District. Our very representation in this great democracy of ours has been silenced by moneyed coastal interest and unchecked Wall Street greed. The mainstream media, so reliant on drama to drive advertising, has pitted ‘city’ against ‘country’ and presented politics as sports, and turning friends into rivals and neighbors to opponents.
This election is not an Indiana–Kentucky basketball game.
Our campaign message is about rejecting the efforts of corrupted moneyed interests, no matter what party they support, recognizing that neither ‘FOX News’ nor ‘MSNBC’ has the best interest of Hoosiers at heart. We will be speaking loud and clear to anyone who will listen, but a lone voice, no matter how sensible, can’t be heard very far.

Vote early, in person if you can.
Request mail-in ballots right now and send them back immediately.
Read all absentee ballot instructions carefully. One misstep and your ballot could be invalidated.
Follow up to make sure your mail-in ballot was received.
Help your family, friends and neighbors register to vote. If they qualify, help them to request an absentee ballot.
Organize an event or call where Andy can speak to several 9th district voters who you think would be open to his message, regardless of their usual political leanings. We can schedule virtual or in-person (socially distanced) events.
