One of the reasons I'm drawn to music is that it creates fellowship. Whether I'm singing to a room full of people or watching from the crowd, it's hard to miss the connection a good song forges among people of different backgrounds. That always makes me hopeful for the future.

It's been a long, divisive week on top of a long, divisive four years. I'm ready for it to end. I'm looking forward to spending some time with family this weekend, maybe catching a fish or two. I'm really looking forward to voting, which I’ll be able to do starting next month through November 3. Soon we'll all have a say in what the next four years feels like.

This campaign is committed to one guiding principle: Hoosier representation. That means putting our shared values above the partisan sideshow.
