Election season is officially here. Early September is when campaigns kick it into high gear, and we’re no exception. As we enter the final stretch we’re doing everything possible to win back Indiana’s 9th District and send a true Hoosier to Congress.

We’re all beginning to understand that unprecedented times call for unconventional ideas.

Recently, I've been talking with folks all over the district and planning for the critical stretch. Election Day is in two months, voting begins October 6. Not much time to get our message out. And boy, do we need your help doing that.

There are a couple ways we’re counting on you. The first is by sharing the official “Ballad of 'Tennessee Trey'” music video with everyone you know. We especially need to reach those not closely engaged with politics to alert them of Trey Hollingsworth’s misrepresentation of our district. One way is through this quirky music video, featuring many locations you’ll recognize, that touches on many of our most important political messages this election.

Our platform is based around shared Hoosier values and common-sense policies that cut across the partisan divide. You're going to hear a lot over the next month about my positions and why a Hoosier Progressive can win the many diverse coalitions here in the 9th District. I will eliminate any doubts that a progressive can represent the hard-working Indiana families living in the ever-expanding suburbs and the soil-under-their-nails farmers who call our hurting rural towns home.
